Contraindications:
Stockings should not be recommended if they aggravate existing skin
conditions. Specifically, these stockings should not be recommended
for patients with the following: dermatitis (skin problems), vein
ligation (recent leg surgery), gangrene, recent skin graft, severe
vascular diseases, such as arteriosclerosis (hardening of the
arteries that causes poor circulation to the leg), massive edema
(swelling) of the legs, pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs) from
congestive heart failure or extreme deformity of the leg.

The stockings are only to be worn
on your doctor's advice and during the time period recommended
